2019 Caucus Meetings
The communities of commonality caucuses provide a platform for municipalities of similar characteristics to collaborate, identify, and address common issues in their communities. The next caucus event will be held during the Midyear conference on April 24-26th. See the conference agenda for more details.
Caucus A – Traditional Rural Cities and Towns
Caucus B – Establishe/Mid-size Cities
Caucus C – Rural Hub/Resort Communities
Caucus D – Rapid Growth Cities
Caucus E – Cities of the 1st and 2nd Class
As a primer for some of the possible discussion topics, ULCT staff have prepared white papers on the following topics:
- Housing (SB 34, Commission on Housing Affordability)
- Mandatory Water Conservation (SB 52)
- Tax Reform (HB 441, Tax Review Task Force)
- Public Safety Funding (SB 129, Benefit Compensation)
ULCT staff has made recommendations for which caucus your community fits into. Those recommendations will be included on your Midyear name badge but you can also identify your caucus HERE.
