Land Use Task Force (LUTF)
During the 2005 Legislative Session, SB 60 Local Land Use Development and Management Amendments was a Land Use Development and Management Act (LUDMA) re-write. In the 2006 Legislative Session there was SB 170 Local Government Land Use and Impact Fee Revisions. The legislative activity on land use during these two sessions highlighted the need for stakeholders to have a venue to discuss and vet land use ideas and legislation before the general legislative sessions began, allowing improved policy discussions and outcomes. After 12 years of efforts, the Land Use Task Force has addressed a number of issues and continues to be a venue for substantive discussion on some of the most pressing land use issues facing our cities and towns, and the state.
