Newly Elected Training Series

Every two years - following municipal elections - the Utah League of Cities and Towns (with support of the Utah Local Governments' Trust) presents newly elected official workshops at locations around the state. These workshops are geared towards newly elected officials and those officials who are interested in a "refresher" course. Each Saturday session lasts approximately five hours and includes a copy of newest edition of The Municipal Official's Powers and Duties Handbook. A continental breakfast, lunch and ample opportunities to ask questions and become familiar with the "ins" and "outs" of municipal government are also included.

  • Feb. 6: Moroni Cancelled
  • Feb. 13: Salt Lake City Council Chamber, SLC Hall, 451 South State, 8 a.m. - 1:p.m.
